Our Story

Joshua's House was born from a deeply personal journey of loss and resilience. Thomas Stone, driven by the loss of his half-brother Joshua to heroin addiction in 2015, envisioned a place where true healing and recovery could flourish. Witnessing Joshua’s struggle with addiction, Thomas and his mom Catherine founded Joshua's House to honor Joshua’s memory and provide a haven for those seeking a path to recovery. Catherine, a seasoned professional in substance abuse, trauma, and mental health, recognized that substance abuse is often more than just a problem—it’s a response to deep emotional wounds and unaddressed trauma. Rooted in compassion and understanding, Joshua's House stands as a testament to their shared commitment to helping others heal.
